Ran six miles at 7:30 pace on the treadmill. Felt good at first but struggled through the last two miles. Then I got a drank and ate a snack and ran other six miles at about 9:30 pace. I wasn't feeling good at all. I think I was low on blood sugar. I watched the Pre Classic while running. I love watching track and field. Fun to see a U.S. high school record in the two mile and some other good races. I reached my goal of 40 miles for the week. The last time I ran that many miles in a week was March 2010. Time to saddle up for some bigger miles. My commitment to myself for next week is 42 miles. Not a big bump. Similar to this week. I don't want to increase mileage too quickly. |
