While visiting in-laws in Lehi, ran out on the roads. It was out in the country. Kind of nice, other than almost stepping on three different roadkill skunks. My pace was surprisingly good: 6:46/mile. Enjoyed the beautiful night.

there's still some "country" left in Lehi? everytime I drive by it looks like wall to wall development from point of the mountain on, kind of sad from when I was in college and it was the middle of nowhere. wait til they build that stupid bridge over Utah lake, that little valley will just explode in population.oh well, nice run!

Yeah, I was surprised how quickly I got out into the "country."

Steve, the good news is we can always take up trail running when there is no "country" left.Another year and I will probably make the switch anyway. I want to be like Crockett, he is kind of my hero. we (I mean I, you are doing 30 milers) need to get in shape and convince him to let us go on one of those rim 2 rims in the grand canyon, now that sounds like a life experience.

I like the idea of trail runs. And I would love to run in the grand canyon. But I'll have to see if I survive this 50 miler before I get too ambitious about trail races.
