Morning 5 miler. Felt good, just took it easy. Clyde and I met-up in the evening to do 800's. We started with a 2 mile warm-up and did 6 intervals. I kept going back and forth in my mind with only doing 4 or do all 6. Here's the break-down: 1. 1:15/2:32 2. 1.20/2.43 3. 1.22/2.41 4. 1.26/2.36 5. 1.26/3.05 6. 1.25/3.03 If felt nice to get out on the track again, it was also nice to have Clyde pushing, I mean pulling me through the workout. However, really felt my legs were not working right. They kept "catching" and I felt that my stride wasn't extreamly fluid. By the time we got the 4 interval I told myself it was going to be the last one and I pushed it pretty hard. The last two Intervals I still did for time but I wasn't killing myself like I did on the first 4. However, I don't think I could have even if I tried. Overall I thought I was a great work-out and I'm looking forward to keeping it up and hopefully I'll see an improvement. |
