AM - Club track workout at Dixie College 6am. Did a good warm-up then did 2 sets of 2x 200, 2x400, 1x800 (Speed work was at 5k pace, recovery at marathon pace). We then did 4 stairs and a cool down. Pretty happy with the workout. We're planning on doing track from now until the SG Marathon so, do need to get too crazy yet.
PM - Wanted to get a few more miles in the for the day since Tues. is my short day at The Store. Ended up going out and getting in a 13+ mile run from the store, to Summit, loop the fields and back to the store. I think it was one of my hottest runs of the year (87F). I kept thinking about everyone doing Boston in the heat and having to deal with that crazy humidity. I think I would have seriously had some problems. 13.2 miles. |
