Ran the Run 4 Kids - Pretty happy with the results, mostly happy I'm not sore this morning. I'm not sure what my splits are because I haven't had a chance to take them off my Garmin.  They are pretty close to Dustin Ence's splits except for the last three mile.

I wanted to start the race off a little slower than I have the last couple races and control my pace a little.  I've been getting to the end and finding myself dead and not able to maintain a reasonable pace the last couple miles. I think the strategy payed off, however I think I had a little too much left at the end because I noticed I was sub 5 for the last portion of the race (down hill).

I'm glad we're running another 10k this coming weekend just to get used to racing again, and running at faster speeds.  I also think it will help with my overall strength as well. I would like to get back down to running 10K in the low 5min pace.

Good race again Saturday. Have you thought any about running the Ogden Marathon? I know you're pretty busy with the store. I just signed up and I think Bill is going to be signing up before long. I would just like to do a marathon this spring to see where I'm at.

Steve super race Saturday. I agree with you. it is better to start a little slower. unless you have a hill like the spectrum at the start. Like you i felt i had to much left at the end. I should of picked it up on the hill. However, I am happy about the time for this time of the year. Wildbull (ogden bound) Are you sponsoring ut/ariz boarder run?

I can't believe you actually posted something! Good run. Things are going to start clicking for you - and all of us - now. Let's get some good runs in the next few months.
