Ran 5 with the group. Bill stayed with me the whole 5 due getting over food poisoning. After about 2.5 Clyde and Dustin took off ahead.

My knee was pretty tight at first and it took some time to get it loosened up. I think we ended-up walking about 4 times during the 5 miles. Tonight It feels pretty good and I'm feeling like it might be healing better than I thought.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the info on the blisters, I was able to buy that same product you suggested last night, so hopefully wearing those for a few days will clear up the problem. Hope the knee continues to improve. Also have you looked at the Boston site lately. It looks like based on our bib numbers all four of us are starting in the first wave of runners. Also looks like the corrals are split up with the first three being 1-3 11:10 am, 4-7 11:12 am. I think they are basing the corrals on the first number of your bib number. I was also wondering if you have read anything about the team competition and if our running club would be eligible to compete in that?

Good news! Being able to run at least somewhat is always good news.

A teacher is never too smart to learn from his pupils. But while runners differ, basic principles never change. So it's a matter of fitting your current practices to fit the event and the individual. See, what's good for you might not be worth a darn for the next guy.
