Time 3:17:33 AP 9:53 I'm actually impressed we got in under 10. Tough run.
HOLY COW! Glad that one's over. Heavy snow for most of this run.
Positives about this run: 1) I ran with Deb and Jill. 2)It was light out when we started @ 6:30am. 3) There was no wind! 4)I heard some birds to remind me it is spring! 5)Very hilly!
Negatives: 1)Ran in my old shoes cause didn't want to ruin my nice new ones. 2) Wet feet for the majority of the run. 3)Sore right foot for majority of run. 4) Blister and sores cause of wet feet for majority of run. 5) Very hilly!
Deb (and dog Hobbs), Jill and I ran the first 8 miles together. Up Newcastle and then up trail (mistake because running through the snow for that 3rd mile greatly contributed to wet feet problem but I was just following the crowd who were not planning on running 20) to Wasatch. Turned left and went up Wasatch and then turned down to neighborhood and down to Creek (don't know names of all the streets). Left on Highland and back up to Newcastle. We ran Deb home (not sure why cause she's running Ogden and hasn't done any runs over 1.5 hours but whatev) and Jill decided to run 20 with me. How nice! She's running Provo marathon 4 wks from today. We ran down past Falcon and up to 94th. turned left @ 17th and ran over past the library and then aaaaaaaaaaall the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up Sego Lily (huge hill). through the neighborhood and down to Eastdell for a min and then back up toward Dimple Dell. Turned left to go up to Wasatch before getting to the DD trail head. Back down where we came to Eastdell and down to 94th. Refilled my water @ 7-11 where I really wanted gatorade but didn't have $. Ran back home and Jill finished with me around home and then I drove her home. Fun! fun! Here's the (shortened version) song I sang as we ran: "The sun'll come out...tomorrow...so you gotta hang on till tomorrow...come what maaaaaaaaaaaay! tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow, you're only a daaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
