| Smithfield Canyon. Legs were aching a good amount. Sat in the river for a bit after. Haven't taken an ice bath since high school haha. Early next week i'm going to do some cross training, give my legs a few days rest from running impact.

| Ran in Provo with a few guys from the LP crew. Was a good time. Lower calf was still hurting but it wasn't awful.

| Hilly miles. Ran to the mouth of the canyon then on the highline trail for a bit. Nasty headwind on the way out. 7:20 pace.

| Five quick miles into Hyde Park and back. A half mile in this guy came up next to me and we ran for like three miles, averaging around a 6:30. He's a graduate student in some conservation science field. Seemed like a cool dude.

| I made the unwise decision to play some hardcore basketball on Monday, and my knees have been suffering since. I went up to the ARC (Aggie Recreation Center) to hit up the elliptical or spin bike for today's workout, but since I'm not taking summer classes they wouldn't let me in. Pretty dumb in my opinion, since I've already signed up for fall semester and paid for tuition. Oh well. Went on a short run, knee was bugging me the first mile but it loosened up which was good. 7:22 pace.

| Easy pace. My legs are kind of wrecked right now. I'm not sure why, because I obviously haven't been putting too much mileage on them. I have that Utah Valley Half next Saturday, which I am still planning on doing. After that however, I'm going to take some time off to get my legs back.

| Good run this morning! I don't have time for a long one tomorrow so I did it today. I felt pretty good most of the time. Stomach was bothering me a bit from miles 5-7, but miles 8.5-12 I felt really really good. Happy with how this went.
