I decided that I was going to long run today... Didn't know how long, just knew it had to be long because I didn't run yesterday. Before I left this morning I decided to download a few podcasts because I tend to enjoy long runs when people are talking. I downloaded a podcast about training for your first marathon, which was okay. If anyone has any suggestions on a GOOD, HIGH LEVEL (not for beginner runners) running podacst, please let me know about it! Did my first 6 mile loop like a gem. 8:32 AP Came home took a drink and headed out for a 5 mile loop before my visiting teachers came by at 10:15. Got back at 10:15 on the dot and I guess they already came and went??? Sent me a text wondering where I was. 8:15 AP Back out for another 6. 8:25 AP Extremely muggy and rather warm today, planes weren't really flying. I looked at my e-mail this morning and they had canceled the running group due to the weather. Really??? I thought it was rather fine. Didn't know running gets canceled EVER due to weather. Plus they were only doing up to 6 miles this morning. Glad I didn't get out of bed to make a showing there. :) |
