Great 20 miler this morning.  There was a cool breeze and a little bit of an overcast.

First 10 miles rocked.  I stopped three time (quickly) to Gatorade (2x) and GU (1x).

Picked up David and my pace felt like it fell, but it didn't.  Going West nearly killed me over and I kept stopping to cool down, it was frustrating.

Got home and stood in my kitchen for about 10 min to cool down and chew on ice.  (mile 17)

Went out and did the remainder 3.

Good times, happy that is over!  8:10-8:20 AP.

3 shirt changes today.

Very nice job and great run! I need to try changing my shirts....might help a little.

Do you have a garmin 305 or 405? I have a 405 and I sweat so much it triggers it to either beep like crazy or switched it from training to normal watch mode. Wondering if you have the same problem.

Great Job! 20 miles is really tough in Texas right now. You said there was a "cool" breeze but I bet it was still well over 70 degrees...that's "hot"!

Jody, I have a Timex GPS watch that is waterproof. The face has been foggy a few times from the humidity, which is typical of Timex. My husband has the Garmin 310, which is also waterproof and has not had any issues. I can see why your watch would go crazy from the sweat and moisture.

I have been trying to drink more often during my runs thanks to what I have read on your blog. Thank you! I have felt a little bit better not drinking so much at one time.

IJR, I know that it was 80 or over. I try to not look at the temp before I go out and run. There was cloud coverage, so I was extremely lucky.
