Med. long run today.  Sooo happy I got it out of the way this morning.

Met Marshelle after one mile and picked Elyse up after 1.5 with Marshelle.  We waited about 5 minutes before Elyse got out the door so we ran up the street and back.  1.5 more with Marshelle, 2 more with Elyse at a pretty darn slow pace.

Ran 8 or something more by myself and knocked up my pace so I could be 9 AP by the end of the 15 miles.

Ran down to the poop pond and my body was engulfed by small little black flying creatures. So gross!  They would stick to my sweat, so by the time I was done with the run I was covered in little dead bugs. :(

uuggghh. reminiscent of JRP runs - blech! I'm glad you got this one in. You're doing really well training where and with who you can. I know it is slow for you, but you'll hit those speed workouts even faster since you're feeling good - I know it! :) Then when you run with me this summer it won't feel quite so bad :)

Thanks RAD,I miss you and our JRP runs. JRP has nothin on the stuff floating around here. The other day the poop pond literally gagged me and David told me to stop overreacting. I seriously wasn't though. I was on the verge of throwing up. The smell was sooo bad.

WAY to get your MLR in with whomever you can get and poop pond icky bugs and all! You will love the canal trail here. Hopefully it will be all paved by summer. There is NO smell nor bugs...the poor duck families have no place to go now that the canal is all covered.
