Did a progressive run at the track.  My legs were way fatigued from running up Payson canyon yesterday so I figured it would be good to push myself and stimulate the last 6 miles of a marathon on fatigued legs.

Mile 1:  8:18

Mile 2:  7:35

Mile 3:  7:32

Mile 4:  7:29

Mile 5:  7:15

Average:  7:35  (right where I hope to be for Boston in April.)

East runs for the rest of the week as I am running Las Vegas RnR marathon next Sunday.  I will be running with my friend Julia the entire way and pacing her for sub-4.  Any words of advice on pacing?

20 minutes weights, core & shoulders

8 treadmill miles, 1-2%, 62 minutes

PM:  3 miles, 1st mile with the pup but she was being a turd so I dropped her off and finished alone.

20 minutes weights, triceps and pushups.  I felt really weak this morning.  I need less stress and more sleep.

6 treadmill miles, 1% incline, 46 minutes

I am officially out of leftover pie from Thanksgiving.  Time to get back on track because I feel like I big ball of butter.

PM:  2 miles easy.  Again started out with the dog and had to drop her off because she was being awful.  Awww what is her problem.

6 treadmill miles, .5% incline, 47 minutes.  Legs felt fatigued and tired.  I hope I can run this marathon on Sunday.  eeeek!

8 miles with 10x400's at 6:19ish pace.  Felt good for the first time this week.  I think that running up Payson canyon last saturday really took a toll on my body.  Overall AP for the run was 7:30.

10 minute cooldown on the elliptical. 

I skipped my lower body workout today since I'm running a marathon on Sunday.  I think that a lot of my soreness is also due to all of the lunges I did last Friday so I figured it was best to skip it.  Plus I'll use any excuse I can think of to not workout my lower body. ha ha

30 minutes weights. 100 pushups, 80 sit-ups, 5 sets of 1 min planks,

20 minutes elliptical talking to Kira Bell.  Thanks for passing the time Kira. :)

6 miles on the treadmill, easy peasy.  I guess I'm ready to run a marathon on Sunday!!  Pacing my friend to a sub-4 marathon.  Any last minute pacing advice from the pros?  We are shooting for negative splits.  So starting at 9:05-9:10 pace for the first half and then 9:00-9:05 for the second half.
