Did a progressive run at the track. My legs were way fatigued from running up Payson canyon yesterday so I figured it would be good to push myself and stimulate the last 6 miles of a marathon on fatigued legs.
Mile 1: 8:18
Mile 2: 7:35
Mile 3: 7:32
Mile 4: 7:29
Mile 5: 7:15
Average: 7:35 (right where I hope to be for Boston in April.)
East runs for the rest of the week as I am running Las Vegas RnR marathon next Sunday. I will be running with my friend Julia the entire way and pacing her for sub-4. Any words of advice on pacing? |
