| Went out on the canyon road run - 50 minute version. It was really pretty - the weather has been most excellent for the last couple weeks. Afterwards, I did the drill workout coach assigned in the email. Legs were pretty fatigued afterwards.

| Beautiful run today! Back up in Logan, I did 60 minutes - the short River Heights loop, with a return on the canal trail. Weather was perfect and I felt great. Yay running!

| Nice easy run on the Canyon loop with the canal to end. Beautiful and relaxed. Strangely sore, but still 'twas a good run.

| Ran a half hour with Grace, a little better this time than last. Then I added on a couple miles afterwards out to the temple and back. Feeling good today. After work, I did the drill workout and circuit at the fieldhouse. Fun fun fun.

| What a great day! Ran early in the rain and I just felt so awesome! Ran fast just for the fun of it and then did my 5x30 second pushes at 800 effort. If running was like this every day, I would run hundreds of miles every week. So great. NL loooooop.

| My mom came to visit and I worked lots, so I didn't run in the morning or afternoon. Just did an easy half hour in the evening, the last 20 minutes with Grace. My legs are a bit tight from yesterday's gallivanting. Tomorrow I will do the drill workout again and on Saturday I will do my 70 minute run.

| Wasatch Back on the St. George Running Center open women's team!! Super awesome and super exhausting. Did leg 9, so I had an easy first leg of 3.6 flat, then a difficult 9.6 of mostly flat with some rollers and ended on another difficult leg of 3.5 with almost 1500 feet in elevation gain. Eew. Ran pretty fast for my first leg, then ran ok-fast on the second and finished the third. I wanted to run the whole way up it, but a couple places it was faster to walk than to run, so I surrendered. Still, a fun experience overall with 45 point turns, near-death semi encounters, no sleep to speak of and protesting legs all around!

| Canyon run again, this time I ran fast! Legs felt surprisingly good and I just cruised. Except for the hill up from first dam to campus. That felt like death.

Sweet run today! I feared it would be pretty horrible since I donated blood yesterday, but it actually was quite awesome. Went out on the 6E/25N loop with an extension up on the canal trail at 15th north. Did my 5x30s pushes. A bit tired and lightheaded by the end, but overall I felt tons better than I expected.

In all honesty, I really don't remember what I ran today. It was either an easy 7, or a hard 8.5. I just don't remember which. So I'll just pretend it was the 7 and tomorrow was the 8.5! I really need to stay updated on this thing. 'Nuff said.

| Did my biggest speed workout of the summer so far today. Went down to the island and ran around there and in Providence for the speed work. Started with a 10 minute push at 60 min effort, a 5 min recovery jog, then another 10 minute push. After that, I took another few minutes of recovery jogging, then did 2x5:00 pushes at 30 min effort. Geez. It really took it out of me today. Still, I felt like I put in a good effort.

| After working a 20-hour all-night shift at the Quiznos and needing to leave for SLC on a 7:30 shuttle, I didn't run in the morning. Then, as I was freakishly exhausted for the next forever, I also did not run during the rest of the day. I am a slacker, I know. But what's done is done and I want sleep.

Since I've slacked off on my long run of the week for the past few weeks, I decided to get my long run done right off the bat! So, today I ran out on the river trail for 45 minutes and back. Ran into Vanessa with about 35 minutes to go, so we ran together back to the trail head and to the base of the first dam hill, where she turned back to go to her car. It was so fun to run with her, she is one of my favorite former teammates. Probably my very favorite. The run was hard by the end, but I am glad I got the death run out of the way!

Did a nice easy run with Kaylee, Kim, Justine and Vanessa. Went out by the temple and onto the canyon road for a ways, then back. Took it pretty easy, just talked and enjoyed the team. Did my 3x15s strides at the end, yesterday too! I am trying to to all of the stuff coach asked me this week. It is hard! In the afternoon, I ran up to the field house and did the drill and circuit workout. Haven't done that in a couple weeks and my legs are feeling it, big time.

Legs feeling pretty dang sore today. Didn't feel much like running, so I headed up to the BST to pep me up a bit. While I was up there, I did my 5x30s pushes.They were good for the most part! The weeds whipping my legs made them pretty itchy though. Hopefully my soreness will abate in the near future.
