Mind Games: They are secret Jedi mind games, you must be a Jedi to do them. No, it is nothing special. I found, while training for SGM at faster paces than I had previously that I could convince myself to keep going past the point when my body first told me I needed to slow down. I just tell myself that I am not tierd and that I can keep this pace up easily for a while longer and I try and run as relaxed as possible at the same time. It is amazing how much farther you can go after your body first says to slow down. The more I've done this the more mentally strong I have become and I have been able to push even farther. A lot of running is mental.
Dale, thanks for the link. I did look at it and the hills aren't too bad. No, I still haven't signed up, but I'd give it about a 90% chance that I'm going to run it.
Thanks for sharing the mind game. Good thinking. Now if I can just convince my body that it's not tired and OLD.
I haven't signed up for Painter's either.
