Ran the local Turkey Trot with Cade (my 6 year old son).  We finished in 33 minutes.  He was very happy not to finish last like last year.  Chase did it in 25 minutes.  They were the ony 2 boys in the 12 and under age group so they took 1st and 2nd.  It was a lot of fun.

I really need to catch up on everyone's blogs this week.  I miss all my running friends.  Work has just been so crazy since I got back from vacation.

Nice job Rhett! The only thing better than running is running with one of your kids!

Sounds like tons of fun. I'm jealous.

I'm bummed because my kids have both asked about this years turkey trot but we won't be home for it. We will be in St. George and the bums down there don't have a turkey trot on the same weekend as Thanksgiving. What is it with you southerners having the trots a week before T-day? Are you afraid it will be to cold on Thanksgiving??? (sorry to vent on your blog)
