I think I want to jump rope tonight where did you learn what to do? Is there a book or can I find it on line. (I am only going to try and do it for 5-10 minutes though!)

I learned in elementry school. Flip rope over head, jump when it comes around. :) Nothing fancy to jump roping, but 5 minutes straight is tough the first time you do it. I find it is my arms that get more tired than my legs. I just mix it up a bit from both legs to one leg, to running in place, to a forward and back scissor motion, etc. What ever I feel like doing.

Nice job Rhett. Good cross trainging.

And a big congrats on your 2.5 miler the other night. I'll bet it felt good to have a small taste of whats to come!!!

Hey there!!!

Welcome home (I know ... I'm a little late. I haven't been able to be on the blog as much the past little while.)

Nice two a days you have going. Did you run again tonight?

SO SO SO happy that you are running pain-free again!!! :) :) :)

Posting my weight has kept me motivated most of the time (right now I am being a slacker). But I do not own a scale so it is just whenever I get to the gym.

Nice workout. How was Mickey, BTW?

You're an exercising maching, Rhett!!! I should find my jump rope that I got for Christmas a couple of years ago. That's a great idea.

Teena, yep another 2.5 for the 3rd day in a row without pain. Yea!

Kelli, my kids loved Mickey.

Dale, I really like the jump rope for cross training. It's cheap, it's easy, and it gives a good lower impact than running workout.
