Yo Rhett - It's getting late in the day I hope you have retired to your room to give the old dawgs a rest. You've done all the training you can do, tomorrow (Monday) it's show time. Good luck, Happy Running....

I just got back to my room after a great pre-race meal at Legal Seafood. Gotta get my race bib pinned then settle in for hopefully a good night's sleep.
Thanks for the well wishes.

I felt terrible right from the start so I decided to take it slow, have fun, and high five as many people as possible. I tried to take in all the sights and sounds of the Boston marathon. It is amazing. Now I'm in the med tent because every time I try to stand up I start spinning.

Seems like you were on pace for a 3:40 something for most of the race up until the end. Hope you get to feeling better. Great job!

Great seeing you at mile 19. That was a hot one with tons of carnage on the course. You're the man Rhett!

DRun. If you would have offered me a coke and some chips I may have just ended my race right there. Knowing you were there kept me running to that point though. Thanks.

How hot was it down on the black top? I never heard the CBS announcers say? Just watching some of the finishers come across the finish line doing the side lean shuffle and then dropping into a wheel chair makes me think it was about 80*? How was your hydration during the run Bro Rhett? Did you see any other runners there that we know???

Well done my Friend. I was keeping up with you and realized you must have decided to just have a good time and enjoy yourself. Congratulations !!! Take care of yourself.

Slick. It was in the low 70s and sunny. I felt like I was hydrating plenty but obviously I didn't get enough. I spent considerable time in the med tent afterwards because I couldn't get my bp up and every time I stood up I would get really dizzy. Finally after getting enough fluids in me it went away. I saw Teena before the race. She looked great as always. She ended up on n the med tent as well with cramping.
