AND THERE WAS JOY IN RUNNINGVILLE!!!!

I loved my run this morning. I just wanted to keep running. It all felt good!!! I did 6 easy miles. After the 1st mile I did the first quarter of each mile at 1/2MP. I meant to do it at MP and I kept slowing myself down, but I just felt great today!!!

6 Miles AP 7:29

My legs are ready. Now if we can get the weather to cooperate, it will just depend on how mentally tough I am on race day.

How's your back doing lately?

From Rhett on Wed, Apr 15, 2009 at 17:51:44 from 170.215.58.122

Burt, thanks for asking. It feels a million times better than it did at the 1/2. It just started feeling better at the beginning of this week. The only nagging injury I have going into Boston is some PF, but I can deal with that,

YAY for JOY in RUNNINGVILLE!!! YOU ARE SO READY for Boston. I wish I was as confident as you.

No worries about the East wind, you can draft off of those Kenyans. No worries about the rain, you're water-proof. You've been there done that at SGM!!! Do those mind games you've done in training!

Great taper run!
