Then, did a few minutes of 1 legged hopping (running).  That was kind of cool.  I'd never done it before, but you try and hop with one leg in a running motion for about 20 yards then switch to the other let and go back.  I think I did 5 or 6 on each leg.  It's supposed to help build power.

When I read about it I thought the same thing. Then I tried it and it isn't that weird. It's just like running on one leg, well almost like running. You are still hopping.

PK, you're always coming up with great stuff. Did you read about hop-running in Brain Training? Goodness, I can't imagine running on one leg. I can hardly do that on two legs.

Yep, Brain Training has all kinds of differnt exercises for improving running form, increasing speed, preventing injury, etc. I love my new book. Hopefully by using some of it's ideas I will be able to take the next step with my running.
