Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Got a big serving of humble pie today. I started out well but quickly faded around mile 18. I know what needs to be done, but my motivation is waning.  Regardless, another marathon finish is in the books. Yaa me!!

I think this applies to me as well. It is always good to finish another marathon and sometimes I think we forget how big an achievement that really is. Hope you all had a good time in Indy!

Good job getting this done.

Our motivations all wax and wane a bit, I think...I've had the same thoughts after a race, but congrats regardless!
