Well folks, I'm back. This summer I was working as a backpacking guide up in the High Uintas so I wasn't able to post because I didn't have the means of doing so seeing that I lived out of a tent for 3 months. Anyway I'm back and it sucks only because of the heat. I'm used to highs of 70 and lows of 30 not highs of 110 and lows of 100 so I need to get used to running in the heat again so that I can do well. Today I ran 11 on Porter Rockwell pretty easy.

Ran a 5k time trial. We ran a 2 mile warm up and then a 3 mile cool down (mostly because we paced someone for a mile in the middle of our cool down). I ran a 17:54 which isn't to shabby for the type of training I've been doing in the mountains. Just need to get my speed back.
