tough day on track with big wind and cold. Couldnt sustain a very consistent pace. 6 x 800 from about 2:50 to 3:01. better enn nuthin I guess

great job -- that wind was obnoxious today. you are so good about getting the speed work in. i need some of that motivation.

Thanks Allie. For some weird reason being able to run on a track helps my motivation for speedwork. Something about the lure of the track, and the sense of accomplishment completing a lap. Weird. It is way harder for me to run intervals on the road. Which is why I always do them on a track when I can, even the dreaded 220 indoor track. oh well.

Nice speedwork in the wind. I totally get "the lure of the track." Something about the precision of knowing exactly where you are and how much further you have to go in each repeat is addicting. Also the smooth form that track running enables is cool.
