track workout. 4 x 1 mile, then a final 400 meter at the end. lots of sunbirds shuffling around the track in lane 1, providing an extra gauntlet challenge. The sunbirds live across the street from the track in the student apartments and like to walk on the track in the morning for exercise. They don't seem to comprehend that runners don't enjoy weaving in and out of lanes to get around them.Oh well, just an extra challenge to make things interesting. 5:57, 5:58, 6:00, 5:56, then a 79 second 400 meter to finish off.
