Thanks--I haven't made up my mind on the free's yet. partly because I am fighting a shin splint and dual calf problems at the same time and trying to figure out what shoes are contributing to the problems... I am pretty sure the shin splint is from the heavy rigid trainers I have used for my long runs. but I can't rule out the frees. I want to get my calves healed so I can get back in the fives and 790s full time. the calf problem is becoming very frustrating. oh well, come Saturday we will see what I've got!
