#22 is a lucky number...
From Predog on Thu, Sep 16, 2010 at 13:43:15 from 24.10.140.186
it's twice my number, so hopefully that means mine is lucky too.

It's based on what you put as your goal time. You probably put 2:50, so that means 21 people have a goal time faster than that. I am #37 (put my goal time as 2:59).

aha. I did put 2:50, you nailed it. I didn't know they would do anything about it, I thought it was just for my own benefit and I would just get bib whatever. now I have learned my lesson and will put 3:05 next time. I have much to learn here....

Quack Quack for you poker fans.
Good number. The pressure is a good thing. Use it to your advantage. Get a good night's sleep tonight and have fun at the packet pick-up tomorrow. You've done all you can now enjoy the fruits of your labor.

We expect you to get at least 18th, Scott. My analysis reveals that some people's bibs are way too optimistic (i.e. bib 4 has a 3:20 PR, among others). Plus you have home field advantage!
[Yes, I am bored]

Oh, and there is a girl who ran a 1:20 half recently- don't get chicked!
From Scott Ensign on Thu, Sep 16, 2010 at 23:36:10 from 67.40.114.86
Adam and Jon, I will do my best, thanks for the confidence. But I am certain to get chicked, I am used to that, but as long as it isn't by a 48 year old woman I am OK with it!
Joe, make sure to set your alarm!

Scott,
Like Jon indicated, if you lose to bib number 4 we will taunt you incessantly. After all, #4 is coming off a string of five marathons this year all over 4 hours.
Best wishes for Saturday!

Good grief, how do you guys figure this stuff out and how do you have time? haha. Do you just google every name?
Scott, don't worry...I think I'll be lucky if I can sleep 5 hours. I'm quite excited.

athlinks
From Predog on Fri, Sep 17, 2010 at 16:17:48 from 129.123.250.247
ooooh that's cool! Consider the next hour or two of my time wasted--er--well spent scoping out the competition...
From Scott Ensign on Fri, Sep 17, 2010 at 17:36:53 from 65.100.255.104
athlinks- cool, like Joe I had never heard of it. all my races are "unclaimed", whatever that means. I am certainly willing to sell them... for a price.

I love athlinks. I think I'll marry it.
From Jon on Sat, Sep 18, 2010 at 14:40:48 from 98.84.70.166
Yup, definitely athlinks. Marathonguide and ultrasignup are also useful, though more specific. I'm spent too much of my life looking names up on Athlinks, that's for sure.
