After pretty thoroughly destroying my legs with back to back long runs I took two days off.  Using the old Jake method of seeing if I could get up and down stairs to see if I was ready.  I went up to Pipeline with Nate and knocked out a run in the SSS, but probably would have been better off bombing around in Vibrams so I could really feel the trail.

Run around the aves and stopped at the capitol to check out the Start/Finish of today's stage.  Picked up a snap on koozie and leg strap from Sierra Nevada before running the rest of the way home.

Met Adam, Fritz, Nate, Pete and Jon for a J ranch run. While running we discussed our different philosophies about number two. Everyone except Fritz enjoys it and uses it as a time for contemplation and self discovery.
