Hi RattleTrap,

I assume from reading your Blog that your a Brother in Christ. I love the Hebrews quote! Also we have other things in common such as the black toenails...I have 5 right now. I'm in pursuit of the BQ next month in OKC also. I've been running a little less than a year and hope to achieve that goal before my 1st year of running. I've got it kinda easy though since I am 50 years old (Ha..Ha..Old man advantage :)

Judging from your last long run, I'd say you're gonna nail it, no problem! You might even consider backing off on the mileage a bit. The last thing you need now is an overuse injury. I got hurt a month before my first BQ attempt and it took a year before I could try again.

Hi RaTtLeTrAp....wow, that's hard to type :) Thanks for the advice. I plan to run hard/long for another week or so then taper for the May 1st race. I think, since I haven't been running for very long, my improvement is still on the incline. I really haven't had any psycial issues other than blister, black toe nails, or minor aches, etc. that seem to go away within a day or two. (I say that and something will probably happen tomorrow..ha..ha) Anyway...thanks for the good advice, I guess I'm just like those in Ez 16:29 never satisfied...:)
