There is a friendly competition over on facebook where soldiers' families are logging their running and walking miles in a "virtual walk to Afghanistan" to show support for my brother-in-law's Army unit over there. Our family's team is getting a royal beatdown and needs your help. If you are on facebook please join Team Carnahan and post your weekly total each Saturday. No goofy apps to install or anything, just join the group and post your miles and maybe an encouraging word as a comment to let Stephen know we're thinking about him. Thanks for your support.

No way could your family be getting beat with you on the team! I bet your miles alone would take you to Afghanistan!

Amy - We are getting beat badly, but not for long if I can recruit just a few FRBers. C'mon, all the cool kids are doing it... well, Burt is anyway. Thanks Burt, you rock!

How do you do it? I'll sign up. I thought you just wanted your family members to do it. You can call me sis.
