You are getting faster and faster! If you could run a marathon right now...you would qualify!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, Jun 09, 2011 at 19:35:02 from 72.102.234.103

JG - Those last 3 felt pretty good. I really need to work on keeping the splits more even though. I've been slacking in that area lately.

Amy - My average pace is still not quite where it was before Boston, but I'm running more hills now. Hopefully I'll be seeing a lot more sub 7 miles in the next few weeks. The goal is 3:10 for the tunnel marathon.

I didn't know that you have already run Boston! When is the tunnel marathon?

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, Jun 09, 2011 at 20:12:59 from 24.18.125.122

Yep, there's a link to my race report on the left. The Tunnel Marathon is on 7/24. Only 44 days and 3 races to go...

Nice run, your late splits always impress me.

Keep piling on the miles, at least it works for me. I made my biggest improvements when I started running 6 days a week and piled on the mileage. I also didn't/don't focus too much on pace, mainly because it's so darn hard to run 70-100 miles a week at a fast pace. Food for thought. You've got a ton of natural speed. I've been lurking on your blog for about a year now, maybe longer. I'd bet my life that your could easily go sub 3 hours after a year of running 6 days a week with a total of high 60's minimum and hitting 80-90-100 during peak marathon training.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Fri, Jun 10, 2011 at 02:57:33 from 24.22.239.183

I don't have time to run that many miles. I just get in what I can when I can and try to give a good effort without knocking myself out.
