Afternoon run today and I ran the Payson Park Loop and extended down into the park and then ran back to the house all via canal road. I felt a little clunky mainly cuz my back was a little tweeked from shoveling all that heavy snow yesterday, it loosened up after a few miles but I had a hard time getting into any kind of rhythm for the most part, my leg and hammy were okay. My average pace was 8:34 with my total time at 1:01:40 and my HR average was at 148, there are some hills on this route which would account for the higher than normal HR average. After the run I did my upper body workout on the Bowflex and then I finished up with some push-ups. A good workout on a very pleasant day outside, I was glad to get it in today!

See ya tomorrow.

A nice afternoon run out to mini GU and then back to the house, on the way back I really tried to lengthen my stride and it seemed to help with my Hammy and things, my brother-in-law, the Physical Therapist,  wanted me to try and do this cuz he thinks with all the injuries that I have had over the last few years that I have shortened my stride some. So for half of each run he wants me to really focus on my form and my stride, it was hard cuz I tend to speed up when I do that so I had to really relax and keep the pace easy and steady. My average pace was 8:26 with my total time at 51:38 and my HR average was at 146, so It felt pretty good so I will try and continue to do this and see how it goes.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran after work again, I ran the Payson Park loop but cut out the rollers and then ran back to the house after  getting back to the house I was feeling okay so I ran out to the stake center and back to tack on another mile. I was not feeling good at the start it was feeling like a death March for the longest time and then as I got loosened up I seemed to feel better. I was glad that I stayed with it. My average pace was 8:50 with my total time at 1:04:50, HR average was at 142, after the run I did a light upper body weight training and some push-ups. I'm glad I stayed at it today.

See ya tomorrow.

I ran out to Mini Gu and then back to the house, hammy was tight and sore to start but by the time I was done it felt pretty good. My average pace was 8:37 with my total time at 52:42 and my HR average was 146, my pace was easy and steady nothing to right home about... Out by Mini GU there is a herd of elk out in the field, some real big animals and they sure stand tall. After the run I did my standard leg lifts and now I have a date with some ice.

See ya tomorrow.

Its so nice that the website is finally up, I was going through with-drawls!!!:) Morning run today and I ran the High School loop, which consists of running to Elk ridge road via canal road and then down to the Highway then over to 100 east past fast gas up 100 east to canal road and then out past the Stake Center to woodland hills road and then back to the house. A good mix of downhill and uphill and flat, my average pace was 8:35 with my total time at 54:37 and my HR average was 146... I felt pretty good today for a change, after the run I did my upper body weight training and then some push-ups. I won't get a long run in tomorrow, I will have to settle for a regular 6 to 7 miler as we have to leave early to St. George, my son Ethan is playing in a soccer tourney down there over the weekend. So we will have to leave around 7 or 7:30am to get there before his first game.  It should be a fun weekend, we will come home on Monday.

See ya tomorrow.
