My son Ethan had an Early basketball game this morning so I didn't get out until after 9 am. I headed out towards Mini GU corner and then down to my 5 mile marker and then I turned and headed for home going back the same way that I came. Pace was steady and I had a couple of faster miles in the middle of the run so I'll count those as MP. My Average pace was 8:21 with my total time at 1:24:34, my HR average was 147 its been a pretty good week of training, but I wish I could have gone a little further today but I need to take it slow. I need to remind my self that I'm still coming back from all my injuries from last year and I need to build these longer runs at a slower rate. Just after Mini GU corner on the way back I ran into my brother Curtis and he was looking strong and in shape, we were able to catch up for a few minutes which is always good. No strength training today as I am short on time, our washer has gone out on us so we are looking for s new one, bummer!

See ya Monday.

It was nice to run into you today, you have the right idea build slowly and have more recover days than speed days and you will stay strong. you were looking great today.

Nice run Clay. And ditto what your bro said. Sorry to hear about the dang washer!
