My hip was feeling pretty good today which is a change, so that was pretty cool. I ran this morning with my Neighbor Jeff Long, he's running SGM, and we had a good time with some fun conversations. He spent a year in Afghanistan and got blown up by a suicide bomber he is lucky to be a live! It was good to here about the war first hand from someone who actually has been there and he shared with me alot of great success stories that our going on over there that we as a nation never here about. Mostly because of the Elite media and how they don't want us to succeed over there, which is really sad, most of the military guys have no use for the elite media. He said they really like to listen to Fox news as they were the only ones who would tell the truth about what is going over there, it made me angry. I sure appreciate his service, he is a true inspiration to me...

Well, back to the run, we ran out to the riverbottoms via canal road and did the two mile loop down there and then we headed up around pretty little hill and then we made our way back home. Our average pace was 8:45 and  my heart rate average was 143, total time was 2:11:37, we had some faster miles in the middle but for the most part we took it easy. We stopped and chatted with all the Spanish Fork group at GU corner for just a bit and that was really cool seeing everyone, it was the first time I have run with out my music in a long time and it was kind of fun...

Well thats about it time for a nap!

It was nice to see you today, especially with a running buddy. You're a loner no more. . .well at least for one day ;)

Glad to hear the hip felt good today. Sounds like you have a really good shot of turning in a good time at St. George. Just keep up the good work.
