I ran the Payson Park loop this morning via canal road, I felt good going out but then on the way back it felt like a death march! I decided to do some strides on the way in and I pushed it as hard as my legs would let me, 5 strides in all. I had two MP miles during this part, 7:44 and 7:40. my average pace for the run was 8:14 with the total time at 58:55 HR average was at 148. After I ran the strides my legs felt better so maybe they just needed a kick in the butt! After the run I did my standard lower body weight training. I'm off to the airport now to fly to Nebraska, should be and adventure! Later.
