| | Drove some of the peeps to Springville for a change of scenery. Ran in hobble creek canyon, really pretty with all the snow. On the plowed trail until it ended, then onto the road. Never located so I just did 70 minutes, calling it 11. Saw the Springville boys running up on the drive back so that was cool
| | Mile warmup, drills. 5X8 second alactic sprints up the overpass. Recovery run, did a new loop through highland and AF. 9 miles, 6:43 average pace
| | 3 mile warmup. 7X300 at mile pace with a 300 jog in between. Averaged 45.7, fastest was a 44. Two mile cool down. Still have a bunch of crap in my nose and throat from being sick last week.
| | Mile warmup, drills. Rail trail/timp highway loop, average for 9.5 was 6:05.
| | 6 easy and then 5 strides on the turf and finished mileage.
| | Around Little Ferry and Hackensack New Jersey. The streets didn’t always have a sidewalk so that was an adventure. 4 strides in the middle and 2 strides in the last mile. Averaged 6:30 for 6.5

NB Nationals (2 Miles) 00:09:16 | | 2 mile warmup. Race went out slow so I took the lead. Led for a couple laps then gave it up and everything went downhill from there. Didn’t race very smart at all. 1.5 mile cool down. Wasn’t right physically or mentally but I’ve taken a lot away from this race. Glad I went and had this experience and ran at the armory.

| | Long run on pony express parkway. Really nice day outside, 6:05 average
| | Explored Spanish Fork before our tri meet. 5 alactic sprints in the last 2 miles. 6:45 average pace
| | Mile warmup. 5Xmile repeats at 5K pace with 4 min rest. Splits were 4:45-4:53. Started raining like crazy on the last one.
| |
| | Did the Run of Remembrance 10K in AF for Memorial Day. Ran mid 36 I think, great environment and course. Really grateful for all the warriors who have sacrificed everything for the nation we have today. They can never be thanked enough for their priceless, selfless service in our behalf.
| | 4 mile warmup. Prime workout, 4X1000 @3200 pace with full recovery: 4-5 min. Same workout I did 10 days before state but this time it went better
| | Herriman trails with Luke, great views and hills. Got to where the trail ended and they had construction equipment there so hopefully they keep it going. Climbed over 1100 feet
| | Morning run before graduation. Went on the trail by the tracks and then along the canal to the construction area

| | Morning trail run with my bro and Luke and some runners corner people. Did 5 miles out and back by deer creek, good times.
| | Up Provo canyon on the trail to bridal veil and back. Kinda breezy but still a beautiful morning. Iced in the river after which was not the best idea.
| | Last track workout of the season. 2 and a half miles of speed changes
| | Provo River Parkway with Tyson, perfect morning and trail
| |

Brook PR (2 Miles) 00:08:51, Place overall: 3 | | Warmup and strides. Pretty nervous but excited too. Gun went off and we went out slow, 70 the first lap. Took the lead and ran a 66, held it and came through the mile in 4:30ish. Someone else took it and I let some people pass and got boxed a little. Got back up there with about 500 to go. Didn’t have the kick the last lap to hang with the top 2 guys. Really happy to get on the podium and run that time off of a slow start. Did a long cool down on some sweet trails with this guy from Washington. This has been an incredible experience and brooks is a really sweet company with some great people. Also loved being in Seattle for a couple days and getting a trip that very few people do. Met a lot of cool dudes and had a lot of fun here. Also, huge congrats to my boys from NAU, Tyler (4th) and Matt (5th) in the 10000 and Andy (4th) in the 5000. What legends
