Nice 10 miler - so are you using the half marathon run less run faster plan? I have that book and have read it a couple times.

Yes, but I jumped in at week 4 (4 weeks from the end) and my paces (especially the 1 & 2 workout were much faster than what was recommend. I did the correct distances but ran the paces I though I could handle. They were hard but I still had a little in the tank at the end of each. I'm planning to run the Gruene Half Marathon in two weeks and I knew I was in better shape than to start at the beginning. If everything goes well I'm going to jump in the middle of the full marathon training for a December marathon.

No...no PR on the TM but not too far off the pace. If all the body parts hold together I think I can make a run at some of my PR's soon :-)
