Today was a Tempo Day on my new Run Less Run Faster program. Since I'm on the cruise I have to do all of my running on the treadmill. I'm still trying to figure out where I should be in regards to training in the program. I didn't want to start at the beginning since I have been running for a while and I didn't feel just pluggTing in my PR's to find equilivant paces doesn't seem to make sense to me either. By doing that I believe some of the pace are too slow for me. Today I picked a 6:15 pace (which is a what you would run if you were a 17.45 - 5K runner, I'm not nearly a 17.45 - 5K runners but I knew I could do the workout as described). So here's the workout: Treadmill set @ 1% Incline Stretch 1 Mile easy - 9 to 10 min pace 2 miles @ 6:15 - 159 HR 1 mile easy - 10 min pace 2 miles @ 6:15 - 165 HR 1 mile easy - 10 min pace cool-down Stretch Tomorrow I signed up for a Spin Class...That will be interesting since I've never done that.
