| | Finally Feeling up to leaving the house again so I went from my house over to 1700 South, up to foothill, stopped and stretched at the light and accidently missed my light.... Oops! Ran along foothill over to 2100 south, down to 20th east, over to Dilworth down to 1900 east and home. Stopped at the light on 20th east to fix my shoe then decided to turn so I didn't need to stop anywase. 7:41 pace. Came home and did my core and weights

| | Met up with Larry and Andrea, did an 800 warm up with speed changes inside Sugarhouse Park, then did 6 quick feet strides, then a mile with 4 speed changes in it then the last 800 was one long speed change I gues, because I didn't know to do one long speed change Andrea caught me at about the 400 then I picked it up.... Then 2 laps around the park with Andrea going both ways, one going one way and the other going the other way.

| | OUCH!!! This run was incredibly painful! My shins were killing me even though I was wearing my compression socks. Today was way cold at my fitness class, so cold I had to get out the old running tights. Anyway, Matt and I did a two lap warm up around the U's track then heard the workout, it was a 2 mile tempo at 6:45 pace. When we started my shins started to really hurt. I went through the mile in 7:01 so I decided to stay on the 7 minute pace. With one lap to go I was on 7:22 pace and limping like I broke my shins but I was able to brin the pace down to 7:07 and finished in 14:08, not the best workout at all but I am glad that I finished the workout. Then I did a lap around the track in the opposite direction. I walkee over to the trax startion giving my shins a break then I ran home... Slow slow slow pace. Averaged 7:24 so I was doing 7:45-7:5X's on the run home... Painful run! Now I am icing my shins

| | I took Wednesday Night, Yesterday and Today off to see if that would help with my shins because they are absolutely killing me even with the compression socks. Anyway I did 20 minutes on the elliptical, 10 minutes on the stepper and biked 5.5 miles. I am counting that as 5 miles running. I then did shin strength things, crunches, side crunches and calf raises. I am going to try to run tomorrow to see if my shins hurt, I am aiming for 3 miles and hoping for 3 miles of pain free. I am going to stop when the pain gets to severe and all I am doing is limping along....

| | I had my dad drive me over to Sugarhouse park to do a light run to see how my shins were feeling... They Felt GREAT! I did an outer lap of the park, I ran on the new paved trail and it is quite nice, I like going behind everything. Then I went in the park and finished out to 2.5, 7:40 pace. Then I came home and did the rest on the elliptical and did my shin weight kind of things. Hopefully I am totally good by monday!
