| | AM: This morning in my fitness class we ran a fartlek workout. I ran a half mile warm up then we immediately started. It is only a 45 minute class. We did a workout of 10x1 on and off. We ran it on the track. I was the top runner but I ran in lane 8 at the University of Utah track so everyone started ahead of me in lane 1 but I caught all of the runners except the first runner. then I did a lap cooldown. 3.5 miles.
PM: A mile of speed changes on the road at sugarhouse park. Then a road lap of sugarhouse park then I ran home.

| | Man I am very tired. I don't know why I am so tired but I was absolutely exhausted. Part of the fact might be I didn't eat lunch but I was so tired. I only made it 3 miles then had to come home and eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich then I went out for another two miles. My legs weren't tired at all but my whole body and such was so tired. I averaged 7:13 minute pace.

| | Today I decided to go run with the weights because I didn't run yesterday. I did a mile warm up, then an 800 with 800 recovery, 400 then a 400 recovery then I started my weighted strides but the weights broke at number 3 so I had to stop and fix my weights.

| | At my fitness class we had a sub, so we did drills and a warm up then ran from HPER to south campus drive, down to the cemetery that we ran in high school. I did a lap in the cemetery then ran back up to HPER.

| | This afternoon I ran a 5 mile loop around my house... Thinking very hard might I add.... I ran before I went to Olive Garden.

| | AM: this morning after work in my fitness class, we had a track workout. We did a lap warm up, then drills, high knees, butt kicks, toe taps, and grape vine both ways. Then we ran a 1200 where we were supposed to get faster each lap, I ran it in a 6:04 mile so around a 4:30. Then we did 10 crunches, mountain climbers, and superman, then ran a timed lap, then did 20 of each, another lap, 30 of each and another lap. I made it all the way up to 5 400s and 50 of each. I ran my 400s in 85-86 seconds. Then a mile and a half cooldown to finish out to 4.

| | This morning I went to my fitness class. We walked up to the University of Utah's track for a fartlek workout. I did a half mile warm up then started the workout. It was 4 Minutes on, 4 Minutes off, 3 On, 3 Off, 2 On, 2 Off, 1 On, 1 Off. Not that hard to stay on pace because of the really long recovery. But on the last one minute on I was outkicked by some swimmer that I was lapping. But oh well, I am not a sprinter. But then we did a lap on the track then I ran home. I ran up to Mario Capecci drive, down to foothill, over to sunnyside and down to 1900 East and home. Very hot run.

| | This afternoon I went over to sugarhouse park and did 2 laps on the road. I was starving because I had been at school from 9 AM to 5 PM and I didn't eat. So I managed to get 2 laps on the road then went home and grabbed a subway and ate it while I ran on the treadmilll the last two miles... Not a very good idea...

| | I really need to remember to blog more! Any way, I went down to sugarhouse park, did a mile warm up, an 800 with weights, then recovery for a half mile then another half mile with weights, and another half mile recovery then a mile cooldown.

| | Today at my fitness class we did a half mile warm up. Then another fartlek workout. It was 30-60-90-60-30 all with a minute recovery. That was one set. Then we recovery for 2 minutes standing, stretching then we do it again.I felt like I was really going fast.,..... I think on the ons I was only going at a 4:50 pace. Then I ran home. Averaged run 6:57 pace. Ran from the U track up to Mario Capecci drive, down to foothill, over to sunnyside, down to 1900 east and home. I was hawling it home, for the run home I averaged 6:30's because I had to be at work in 20 minutes..... Until I drive all the way there and find out it is cancelled...

| | Today at my fitness class I just went from HPER W up through the dorms onto the shoreline trail, out a mile and a half back through red butte gardens and through the dorms down to the locker room. Easy slow paced run.
PM: When I got out of math I had a sore throat, then it progressively got worse throughout the night and now I am exhausted. No running tonight.

| | Today was my first day back running since I was sick... Boy was it a tough run... I started with a half mile warm up, at a 6:45 pace, it didn't feel that fast at all.... But then we did the 10x1 minute on one minute off fartlek workout on the University of Utah track. Great weather, suns out, shirts off. I started out with the second fastest guy Jake, but I kept gaining ground on him on the recovery so I just decided to keep going because I felt fine. I got 2.5 miles done in the workout, the same as I usually do when I am not sick so I didn't loose much fitness. Then I cooled down a mile running around campus.
