This morning after watching the Olympics, I ran down to Cottonwood Complex. I started with a loop from my house that was about 0.7 of a mile then I ran down to the complex. I did the last mile of the regions course and that got me to 5. Then I did a lap around the baseball fields and a little extra to get to 5.5. After those, I took my shoes off and did 6 barefoot strides then finished out the mile to get to 6.5. I felt great, but on the downhills my shins were hurting. No achilles pain though, so that is a good thing. Did my core.
