Today at 7:30 in the morning my XC team met at sugarhouse park for our workout. We did 7 miles today but we did a hills workout so it was a good workout that makes you really work. We did a 2 mile warmup and I went at a good pace for a warmup but I could of gone a bit faster. We did 3 miles of strides and hills after the warmup, during the hills my thigh started killing me. It felt like I pulled a muscle in it but after I did some more hills again it went away. When we were doing the core stuff it started hurting again. Im going to ice it again and see how it feels later on a little run. Overall I thought today was a good workout that is going to benefit me very well. |
