Today i thought I would actually begin blogging again. I need to keep blogging... Ugh, I always forget to though. But today I ran to cottonwood complex, did the course, did 6 strides and drills. Feet are beginning to hurt.
Ran on the paved trail next to Parley's canyon. I have never been there, it is way nice. It is exactly 1.5 out, so I ran out and back and went on the other trail for three quarters of a mile. Ran to a nearby park to do my strides and drills.
This afternoon I went over to Murray park and ran on the old Murray invite course. I remembered most of it which was pretty cool. I was stumbled a bit by the trail and the snake. Then I did my strides and drills. New shoes hurt my feet in the second mile then they felt great.
Ran down to Cottonwood Complex and ran the regions course. Then did my strides and drills. Feeling good to be running again. My legs are getting sorel... It's so exciting!
Went down to the Olympus track to do some speed changes. They have a really nice track! I ran a mile warm up, half mile of speed changes, then a half mile cooldown. 20 miles a week is not much at all, but it is a start. Then I did my drills.
