Morning run, a few miles of sun, temp. 34'-44'
I started out when it was very cloudy and dreary, at the bottom of Butterfield Canyon. The canyon is still blocked off from traffic which is nice. As I climbed in elevation from 5,400 to 7,800 the snow got deeper. However it wasn't until the final mile before the top that I had to run in the snow. I ran through some fog on the way up but just as I got near the top the sun came out, which was nice cause it was a little chilly at the top of the canyon.
This was my longest run of the year and the most miles logged in a week. I hope I'm ready for UVM.
