| Am - Met up with the team for practice after 3 days apart, it felt like so long. It felt great to be back with mah homies as we did a 70 min trail run with some dope striders after. Running prospector trail I felt tired but then when the shoes came off and we did striders, I felt robust and rejuvenated with the energy of a young tortoise. 8.5 mile run, 10 total, word out.
Pm - Went out to do Dino cliffs trail with Alex and Julien. They didn't feel good so they turned back at 10 mins. As I got to this one part where the trail turns and goes down the cliff and also looks like you could keep going straight along the cliff, I decided YOLO and went straight. Turned out to be a beast illegal trail. I went over my 30 mins and got 38 but it was worth it. The most fun I ever have running is days like today when I'm out by myself discovering new trails. The trail was sick it went right along the edge of a cliff it was so cool. Got 5 miles, word out.

| Am - easy grass run, 4.2 total miles it was a good day. Mitch had a dream last night that me and him tied for first at Nike nationals. I had a dream that AA totally wanted me. She told me she was single in some weird code way, it was weird. Preston's jealous no doubt.
Pm - Had practice at school at 3. Ran to the outlets and back. Just a nice, chill, robust 4 miles in like 105°. Had quite the convo with my buddies about buddy stuff. Can't disclose it on here, wish I could. After, lifted n stuff. I wanna get my 2 rep bench max to 170 before I graduate. Right now I'm at 150 so it's plausible.

Am - Had our teams first time trial today. It was pretty great. I felt super good on it. We usually do it at our school, but because the baseball fields getting wrecked, we did it at Bloomington hills. Race was fun, coach wanted us to pack it tight for most the time, then at this hill with about 500 to go we all just go from there.
I felt really good, I just chilled behind the leaders for most of it. Paul kinda got antsy I guess a mile in and surged hard, got a lead. Really, we were fine and we were gradually speeding up but whatever. We regrouped, then with 700 to go everyone kinda slowed as we went around the bottom of the park, so I got to the front and started moving. I got to the hill and shifted gears one more time. I finished good, could've finished harder for sure but an uncontrollable variable prevented that today. I got 10:41, pretty solid, with skylar right behind me and everybody else right after that. I'm glad our team is looking beast. Honestly this wasn't too hard for me. I'm pretty excited for some of our main races like Herriman and nebo.
After that did a little workout on the rolling hills at the park, then striders and a few more miles on the grass. About 7 total today. Oh and me and skylar saw Aaron Metler in the bathroom before and we were 1&2. No doubt connected.

| Am - 5.7 miles on city creek trail. It was a good time. Hamstrings were feeling sore and my right glute/upper hamstring is pretty tight and kinda bugging me. Been workin on it a lot though. Nice trail though, one of my favs.
Pm - 4 miles in the afternoon, met up with the team at the school for it. Felt nice with a bit of cloud cover. Legs felt tired. After lifted and got pretty swoll bro. Took a cooler of ice home.
And now right at this second I'm takin an ice bath and it feels great.

| Am - Our team met up on the temple quarry trail. It was a nice cool cloudy morning, great for a trail run. We got 3 miles in and turned around, and it started to rain hard core and lighting. Me and Jake did some epic chiva running, jumping off boulders and doing tricks and stuff. Got 100 percent soaked it was an awesome run with some beautiful views of St george. Got 6 miles about.
Now heading off to cedar mountain with some of the team, should be sick.
Pm - Had a beast trip up to Navajo lake. I drove my 2000 Honda civic and me, Alex, Paul, and Jake jammed to Katy Perry the whole way up it was awesome. The run felt good, just a chill 30 minutes by the lake. Got 4 miles. Jumped in the lake after; had a great sd friday. After that we went to mammoth caves and explored them hardcore.

| Am - we were up till midnight playing risk, so we got up at 8 for our run. Drove up to the start of the road to Brian Head peak. Ran a bit up the road and got on a trail we thought would be a funner way to the peak. Ended up it only took us to the top of the ski lifts. Saw two nice bucks then we all scramble up the cliffs to the peak, it was beast. After that ran on some trails, and eventually ran a 20 minute tempo and finished up with 9.7 miles. Great adventure run and great trip.
