| pm- did the usual pre race run, which was sandburgs but 4 miles. I should not have ran. I truly was kinda fine but most of the time i was hurting. this run was also the most scaryest day of my life. so we were all swimmin in the pond and all when all the andrew lets out this screech and dissapears under water. so mathew my new hero runs and dives into the pond, clothes and all. so him and andrew are under there when all the sudden jake goes under to. then paul. then me. ALL THE FRESHMEN!!! under the water this tentacle thing was choking me when all the sudden matt rips it away from around my neck and i floated up to the top of the water. when i got up all the freshmen were ashore so i swam over there fast. we waited, and waited, and waited. but no sign of matthew. then all the sudden he bursts out of the water gasping for breath giving this giant octopus thing the choke hold. the octopus suddenly screeched and swam away to the depths of the pond. matthew swam to shore and we all cheered for him. then got our shoes on and ran away. this was so scary but rad too. now i know why matt never gets in when we go to sandburgs. |

pm- biked 10 miles just around the golf course and stuff. tried to go on every road i havent been on in green springs. and yesterday night before bed my mom like got this plunger and made it suck my i.t. band by my hip and stuff. it felt so weird. i was half laughing half crying the whole time. and coach if you read this i will be gone tomorow shootin elks so i wont be at practice, ok? | Add Comment |

| pm- RACE. This was a good race but a bit dissapointing. I had really hoped to break 17 for this course, based off suu race and cedar race. I dont know if it was not running for 5 days or what but I had the worst side ache of my life so far. It felt like a knife stabbing into by stomach and through my back with blood dripping all over. In the race our group of pine views had a good pack. Matt was pulling away a little bit but the rest of us were staying together good. When were about by the bathrooms on our big loop, the side ache started coming on until it was just killing. I slowed down and sunshine and josh and a few guys passed me. Then coming down the slight, slight slope right before we started the last lap, I started to feel better. I picked up the pace and was catching a hellian. I almost passed him at the end but he just edged me out. As a team for JV we did great and ended up with and UNDEFEATED SEASON! The rest of the team did good but no other region titles. Hopefully I can be in shape and physically prepared for foot locker.

| pm- 5 miles, green springs. I felt ok this run, but was still getting back into it a bit. I always hate this run cause I am so close to home but then have to go all the way back to the high school. Anyways, I fell behind the main pack a bit and ran with Randall for a bit at the end. The weather is really getting nice lately. |

| pm- Today we did a workout on the track for practice. We were supposed to get faster with each thing we did. The workout was 1 800, 1 600 but faster, 1 400 but even faster, 1 200 even more faster, then a 400 all out followed by a 200 all out. We started practice by having to take stupid pictures. The we went and warmed up to pizza hut then started the workout. The 800 felt faster then it was supposed to but thats alright to me, i just wanna pass all these fast juniors and run varsity next year. It was raining slightly the whole time which was SICK cuz rain is SICK. The rest of the workout was fast and hard but it was nice to do speed stuff and be able to go all out and not hurt bad. Just gotta keep icing my foot and hip. |

| pm- We ran down to the middle school and did wave hills. I think we did eight. Coach said he was just gonna have us do them until he said to stop. So I thought we were just gonna keep going and going, but we stopped so that was nice. Then we ran back to the high school. It was a nice run, the weather was cool and cloudy and we just had some easy mileage with a nice little workout in the middle. |

| pm- 3 miles up in the desert. Well me and my dad planned to go on a run in the desert up by the dinosaur tracks and the parkway. We went up on a trail which was really nice. The scenery was really nice and its fun to manuever the turns and the ups and downs. Running on the road gets really boring. We thought the loop was gonna be more around 5 miles but it only turned out to be 3. Still a good fun run. |

| pm- Today we did a little workout on the track. First we did our harts warm and cool. We did like a 200's relay race on the track. My team was me, byron, and kashton. We won cuz were are the absolute best. I pumped for the trip tomorow, plus a bonus is no race for me. |

pm- Ran around a high school in salt lake. We did 3 miles on the grass, then we did striders. When we ran around the high school campus, there were these kind soccer players that yelled some encouraging words at us. Then we went to dinner at TGIF and paid too much tip.

| am- Me, Archie, Abel, Jason, Jake, and Reed got up at 7 to go on a short little run, just 2.5 miles around the mall. We were waiting in front of the hotel for Archies gps to find satelittes when coach roberts pulls up in the bus, all alone, just him and the driver. So he went with us too. The weather in the morning was awesome, very cool but not unbearable cold. |

| pm- 6 and a half miles, hill workout up and down foremaster ridge. This was the first time I have done this workout out and it was way hard. We ran over to Sunrise tire and ran up the hill pretty fast. Then jogged slowly back down. Most people did 5 of them. On the third one I was killin and stoner came from behind and PASSED ME! Oh the shame. Not as bad as getting beat my sunshine, but its up there. I promised not to let it happen again. So of course, it didnt. Then we ran back to the school. And hurray, hurray, tomorow we start up morning runs again. hurray hurray, im so stinkin happy, hurray hurray. |

| am- back to morning runs, hurray. arctic circle. pm- For practice today i just ran 3 miles; my knee was hurting too much. I started out with the boys but as we went farther all the little tendons and stuff under my knee started hurting too much. So me and Jake Brown turn back at harts and got around 3 miles i think. I went back and iced it and others parts of my poor crippled body. I am only and freshman but i am dying and falling apart. What a bummer. oh well. Then when we were all waiting for rides and all that, me jake and andrew were watching rachel pull out when clunk, she back into a car. Sorry stoner but it was pretty funny at the moment but yeah, thats too bad, sorry you had to do that. There was a pretty nice dent in the car but her and mia just drove away really fast so it was pretty much a hit and run i would say.

| pm- We did the mall run which was 5 miles and after did striders. The run was great, my knee felt mostly good and i could run good. Coach just told me to run good and straight and clench and all that. So the knee felt pretty fine. I even won the 3rd strider so it was a day full of accomplishment. |

| am- 3 miler arctic circle as usual. It was colder than normal like 40 degrees but i like it. pm- Workout in the afternoon. The total mileage was 7 miles about. We had our harts warm up then did the workout which was 1 minute hard and 1 minute recover, then 2 minutes and so on up to 4 minutes. Then 3, 2, 1, then cool down. This workout was okay but not too hardcore. I don't really know what was up, my legs just didn't have it. I would try to go faster, i even would say out loud, "go faster you fool!" I finally started catching people by the end but I didn't stay up with krenshaw and reed and kyler and them most of the time like i normaly can. It was just weird. |

| pm- Me, Paul, and Andrew got together after school like at 2:30 and did mustang pass then through the desert to my house. Total miles was 7.35690. Right when we started we saw this shirtless man running through the brush. It turned out to be coach holt so that was really good or really bad timing. It was a good run and was fun because its way funner to run on dirt trails than road. Now i gotta go win my race tommorow. |

| am- RACE. Today was the monster dash race. This was more like a 3 mile tempo. I felt like i was going pretty quick, but i guess not. No one was any were even close to me. I was just running alone. So it was hard to go really fast not having anyone anywhere to make you push it. Looking back now, I didn't feel like i was dying. I was just breathing pretty hard. So this was a nice, fast, cold run. |

| pm- Did a bit on the bike. And coach, this is for you. Jake and Paul said you wanted to know whats wrong with me. Mark said i have a bursitis in my knee and tendenitis in the same exact place.
