Stayed with our friends, Jake and Manon Seethaler in Herriman (a.k.a. Harry Man), UT.  Went for a nice run out on the open country roads followed by a full day of fourth of July madness.  First we helped our kids (and a bunch of other neighborhood kids) decorate blocks of wood with paint, stickers, straws, and balloons and raced them down the canal by Jake's house.  Abe won 2nd place, Ali was somewhere in the middle, and Breanne swept the rear. Then we went to Dollar Tree and all the kids picked out a prize.  Lunch, ice blocking in the park, swimming, Cafe Rio, and fireworks rounded out the day nicely.  Not just any fireworks, aerial fireworks....shooting out all over the valley....thousands of them.  It was awesome.

Easy run with Aaron followed by 10 minutes of barefoot running in the park. Drove back home to Boulder today...

Slow, easy five around the neighborhood.  Hip feels pretty good, not great yet but getting better.

90 minutes of cycling.  Rode to the top of Flagstaff road.  There is a super steep section just before the top and I was dripping sweat bigtime while my heart rate shot through the roof.  Loved it.

I also went to pilates reformer today.  Making a commitment to go in for a class at least once a week.  It will help my hip and strengthen my core.

Easy run from FAC.  Lots of stretching and some core work afterwards.

Boulder has been getting afternoon thunderstorms almost all week and I absolutely love it!  Cools the temperature down and puts this fresh smell in the air.  I hear the thunder rolling in right now.

2 hr. bike ride up north.  Stopped at Boulder Res for the Boulder Peak Triathlon Expo to say hi to Karen with Athletes Honey Milk.  It was nice chatting with Karen; oh and that Honey Milk is good stuff!!
