I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.
Married, two kids - Abby and Andy
PM: 7 eliptical miles, 1.25 mile treadmill jog.
The images on the screens in front of me harshed my mellow.
PM: 6.5 miles up and down Grandeur Peak plus 130 push-ups. Did 35 push-ups on the summit because nobody else was there.
Walked 8.25 miles.
PM: 21 miles on the bike.
The Alta Hawks boys soccer team won their 10th state championship tonight with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Wasatch High. The third time the two teams have met in the championship game in the last 5 years.
PM: Grandeur Peak again. It was warm and I'm not adjusted to that yet. I'm pooped!
AM: 1.5 mile jog, weights, 1.5 mile jog.
