I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

AM: 14.5 miles at Jeremy Ranch.
PM: 2 easy miles plus strenuous weight lifting.
PM: The regular 15k in Millcreek Canyon.
PM: 6.25 Up and down Grandeur Peak with Andy. Nice to have company for a change and he performed like a trooper.
AM: 2 easy miles.
PM: 6.5 miles in the gully.
Noonish: 7.5 miles in the gully and weights.
It started hailing ant the top of the Dimple Dell Gully for about 60 seconds. Actually hurt a little and I was wishing I had a hat because the hail bouncing off my head was not pleasant.
AM: 9.3 miles on the Pipeline Trail. 8:49 pace. 34° at the start - fortunately I had gloves in the car.
PM: 1 mile ruck with Andy - 30 lb. pack.
