A young teacher at school came by to interview me after school today. He's one of those alternative path teachers and he needed to interview an "experienced veteran" (old) teacher. It was interesting but I'm not sure I hellped him. He wanted to know about my classroom management philosophy (don't really have one) and my system of rewards and punishment (definitely don't have one). I basically told him to master his subject, be interesting, keep the kids busy, and let them know you care about them, and you'll be ok.

Sounds like good advice.
