My knees really hurt today so I quit my run after hobbling a mile. Pain under each kneecap. There was no pain two days ago. Maybe it's the lifting I've been doing? Certainly not the high mileage.

Walked 2 miles with Ann.

That's what I'm hoping Mark. Thanks.

ouch.

Don't lift legs. Minimal return and high risk.

Pushups, pullups, and curls for the girls. Stick to those and save the legs for running!

Totally.

Basically he's saying you need it, I don't. :-)

That's right! Us old guys need it, and you young guys not so much.

When was the last time you got new shoes?

From Rob Murphy on Mon, Oct 26, 2015 at 17:13:45 from 24.10.247.181

Jason - Haven't you read Born to Run? Shoes are unnecessary but if you do wear them, worn out is better.

From Jason D on Mon, Oct 26, 2015 at 18:54:07 from 68.80.27.222

Parts of it. I rarely finish a book these days. I read for a while, get excited about it, the something comes up and I don't get back to it.

I often have barefoot running dreams. But not training or racing; it's as if I need to get somewhere and I've lost my shoes.

I'm bad about retiring shoes. Not as bad as some i would imagine.

I just retired two pair because my feet/legs were feeling it while running in them. Definitely have a running mile limit, best to tell by feel.
